  1. Setting default desktop

  3. Desktop information is kept in SCOM Workspace file in 
  4. Extensions/Setup/ (System 6), or System/Preferences/ 
  5. Symbolic Composer folder. You may remove the Workspace 
  6. file, and SCOM returns to factory presets.

  8. Position information for the windows is saved when you 
  9. exit SCOM. The next time you boot the items appear in the
  10. same places, and all project files that were open at
  11. the last exit time will be opened.

  13. There are few exceptions on setting default items.

  15. To make "New" editor window appear in a new default
  16. position when booting, use Stacker command from the 
  17. menu pallette. Select "Make the topmost window as default" 
  18. command. This memorize the default font, size and position. 
  19. Next time you boot these values are used for opening a 
  20. "New" editor window.

  22. Visualizer default position and size is saved from the
  23. topmost Visualizer window when you exit. If there are no
  24. Visualizers open, then nothing is saved.

  26. Hyperhelp default position and size is saved from the
  27. topmost Hyperhelp window when you exit. If there are no
  28. Hyperhelp open, then nothing is saved.
